Christmas Time!
It was so good to be home for Christmas this year. Christmas Eve we went to great-grandma's house to have our white elephant exchange and to open some other presents. sccott and I told the Nativity story and my Aunt Debby told the night before christmas.
We have spent Christmas in Iowa the last few years so it was nice. My oldest brother was their with his new girlfriend and my youngest brother was there from college. Grandma and Grandpa Nelson spoiled the kids. It was great to know that while we are going through medical school and have no money that the kids could still have a wonderful Christmas. Thanks!
It was so fun to see the boys open all their presents and see what Santa brought them. Jacob didn't know how to express himself he was ecstatic. We also did the elf on the shelf this year, but I didn't get any pictures. Jacob named him Jim and had lots of fun finding him every morning.
This is what Santa left them. They got to first find this and then we opened presents.
This was waiting to see what Santa brought
We made sugar cookies with grandma. They were YUMMY! Landon managed to cover his chair completely in flour
Grandma gave the boys a christmas book that sings. Landon carried it around forever and would want to sing the tree song, Oh Christmas tree. He could sing the whole song it was adorable!
