Illumifest

We finally made it to the west des moines Illumifest. It's kind of a chinese cultural celebration. We got to go up in a hot air balloon. Probably about 40-50 ft up and then came down. Landon didn't like the loud noise, but Jacob kept looking down and I was surprised he didn't get scared of heights at all. We also go to take a fun paddle boat ride. They painted chinese lanterns and we ate some yummy crab rangoon. The best part was it was completely free!! (well except the rangoon it was $1)
