Random happenings of June

Landon is now 5 months old. He slept through the night for a week until he got sick and now it is a few times each night. One day I will sleep again and have energy, but until then I will enjoy having a baby. He spits up like crazy. Jacob never did so its weird to have to carry around multiple burp cloths. We started feeding him baby food and he actually enjoys it. There was no initial "weird face". he just starting eating it and wanting more. He will eat rice cereal plain and he has also experimented with some squash and sweet potatoes. He likes to grab his toes and eat my necklaces. He is such a joy in my life. Even though it is hard sometimes having two kids, it is totally worth it!

Jacob is such a good kid too. A day doesn't go by that I don't laugh at something he does or says. He is mostly potty trained except for occasionally at night. now that dad is home, he thinks he has to be wrestling constantly. Scott is proud of all the new wrestling moves he has been learning. He knows that when I am doing my hair or putting on a skirt that it is his que to tell me I look pretty. My favorite is when he tells me he loves me or that I'm pretty without me saying anything. He also loves to say prayers all by himself. He is pretty good with coming up with things to say. 3 out of 4 times he it thankful for chicken nuggets.

Scott and I are still working some but are so glad that we get to spend so much time together.


We went swimming at a place with a small beach area. Scott and Jacob made a sand castle while Landon and I took a nap. Landon is getting so chunky. I think it is soo cute!

Scott broke out the jogging stroller and took Jacob for a run. Oh how I love summer! The warm weather is soo nice. It still hasn't been too humid yet.
