Easter

Now that Jacob is starting to get older, holidays are starting to become more fun. For Easter this year we went to 3 Easter egg hunts.
DMU had one with a few Easter activities. That was a day Jacob missed a much needed nap so he wasn't too excited about seeing that Easter bunny or doing crafts.

We did go with some friends to a mall that had an Easter bunny and a little train to ride for $1. Jacob actually enjoyed that and wished he could keep riding the train. Instead I let him ride the escalator a few times (a little cheaper).

The Saturday before Easter we went to a city Easter Egg hunt. There were TONS of people I thought! The little town I'm from doesn't even have that many kids. Jacob was shocked too at first and it took him a little bit to realize he was supposed to be picking up eggs and candy. He was just fascinated by all the kids.

Later that day our Branch put an Easter Hunt together, but it was pretty cold. Jacob enjoyed that and we had a fun rest of the day opening our eggs. We decided to remember the true meaning of Easter (Jesus) and go to the temple.

Here is a Bunny I made out of bread.

Easter Sunday was again a good day. We had gotten home late the night before so I totally forgot to fill and hide Jacob's Easter basket. Luckily he is still too young to really know what is going on. So he didn't mind getting it late
