Our Break is Finally Over...

Here is Scott's deer

Here is Jacob in his little swimming pool. He loved it!

Our family had a very fun 7 week break from school. We have visited LOTS of family and gone rock climbing many times a week. Scott and I are actually getting better so it is fun to try harder routes. Unfortunately, I now start school on Thursday. I'm going full time, and I know it is going to kill me to be away from Jacob that much. The end is finally drawing near though. I just have one more semester and then Student teaching left, until I am finished. YAY!

Jacob started crawling the day after he turned 9 months old and he caught on very quickly. He now gets into everything and will chase me down the halls. This is such a fun age.. I LOVE IT! I can't believe he is now 10 months old. Time goes by way too fast! The only bad thing is that he is starting to throw little tantrums when you take away a toy he wants or if you try to force him to stay on his back so you can change his diaper... lol Where did he learn that?

Last week Scott went to his first Medical School Interview in Erie, Pennsylvania. He thought the school was impressive, but it was his first one so we will see how it compares to the rest. He flies out of Utah so I went down with him last week and hung out until he got back. We ended up staying until yesterday, because we went to my nieces baby blessing. He left again today so he can fly out early in the morning tomorrow to Des Moines, Iowa. When he gets back he will probably just stay in Utah because he has another interview near Las Vegas on the next Tuesday. Jacob and I are really going to miss him! Good Luck Scott!

Jacob crawled into the clothes hamper and then he couldn't find his way out.

  1. Wow sounds like you guys have been having a good time! I love the video of jacob, isn't it funny the things that kids do? Sandy likes to crawl inside of cupboards and just sit there. Good luck to Scott with all the Medical School Interviews!

  2. Hey Karissa it was so good to hear from you! Jacob is such a cutie! Congratulations on all the school you two have accomplished. Tell Scott he should apply for medical school in the Kansas City area ;) About 80% of my ward is medical school students going to KU med. We have so much fun with them- Good luck with your search!
