4th of July Fun

For the 4th of July weekend we went to Vale to see my family. It was a lot of fun. Jacob was really good most of the time. He is now getting his top teeth in. One night he was up a lot and the next morning we looked and he had his second tooth on the top break the gums. His teeth grow so fast! I didn't mind the bottom teeth, but the top teeth I'm not so sure about if you know what I mean...(nursing).

We left to Vale on Wednesday night and didn't get in until really late and then we had to work on the farm at 6 in the morning.. It was a long day, but luckily we had grandma to babysit! Scott and my dad got talking about crawfish and decided to try and go catch some. And they did! Here is a picture.

We decided to go to the famous 4th of July Rodeo, and it ended up being pretty cool. We usually celebrate my grandpa's birthday this day, but he passed away last year and this is the first 4th of July without him, so we had to do something else for a change.

Now we are back to a fun week of school :) Scott and I are busy trying to work on all his secondary applications for medical school. He has gotten 8 so far. Cross your fingers that at least one of them works out!
