Today Scott and I ran in the Teton Dam Half Marathon (13.1 miles). I have been training since the middle of January to run in it with one of my good friends. Unfortunately, she had to go to a funeral today instead so she couldn't run with me. Scott (who hadn't been training and did great!) got to take her place though and it was really fun to run with him. He pushed me along and our time was 2hrs 11 min which was a lot faster then we ran it a month ago for our trial run. I was very proud of us! I couldnt' have done it without him! It was cute.. we held hands across the finish line.. :) It feels good to accomplish something like this.
As for JACOB...
He is growing so fast! He eats tons of baby food. we weighed him after breakfast yesterday and he was 19 lbs! When we went to the doctor last he told us we could start using a baby toothbrush on his two little teeth just to get him in the habit. We use it every once in awhile, but he doesn't like when I do it. He wants to grab it and do it himself.
