Halloween Craftyness

This year I made a Halloween countdown so we could do something fun every day. Most of them were kids crafts, some were going to Halloween things or pumpkin patches. It was lots of fun! Here we made marshmallow ghosts, q-tip skeletons, a haunted house with door/window flaps, candy corn with torn up paper.

We also made hand print spiders, pasta pumpkins, and I let Landon hold a paint brush. He is getting better. This was stencil art where you put a paper down and paint over it and then you take the stencil off and it shows an outline of what you painted.

We then went for a walk to pick up a bunch of different leaves that had fallen from the tree. We learn about the seasons and why the leaves fall and then we made our own tree with real leaves, we painted with leaves, and we put leaves under our paper and colored over it to see what the leaf looked like.

We Made a Frankenstein, painted a pumpkin using corn syrup and food coloring so it had a shiny glaze, and made crazy monsters
