second year of medical school

Scott has finally started medical school... good and bad. We are glad that he is getting closer to being done, but sad that we dont get to see him as much anymore. The summer was wonderful spending every day with him. Here are a few random things that have been happening lately.

Jacob used watercolors for the first time.

Jacob loves giving his brother hugs or as he calls them squeezes

My mom sent us home with some chocolate molds that I used to have growing up. Jacob and I had fun melting Chocolate and making chocolate sucker, letters, and a cool train. Jacob also thought they tasted pretty good and had way more sugar than he usually ever has.

Jacob did his first 100 piece puzzle. he had been doing 48 piece ones and I bought a 100 piece one at the dollar store thinking it was a good find and that I would give it to him down the road. He was bored that day so I decided to keep him busy with something by letting him try that puzzle. To my surprise he did it all by himself and pretty quickly too. I loved puzzles when I was little too so he must get that from me. :) He was so happy and I was so proud of him.

We went fishing.

We are the proud owners of 5 hermit crabs. haha. they are so much fun and not to mention EASY to take care of. We put them in Jacob's room and he has so much fun looking at them everyday.
