1st Birthday!!!

Scott went and worked early this morning until 3 and then he left for his normal job at 4 so we had Jacob's birthday party during that hour he was home. Jacob really liked opening all his presents and eating all the wrapping paper. Jacob says thanks to his Grandparents!!! I made him a cake and we let him go at it. He destroyed the cake and had fun smashing it in his fingers but we couldn't get him to eat very much of the cake. He only liked the frosting. I can't believe a year has already gone by. Jacob is so much fun and we love him so much! Lately he has been starting to stand on his own without holding on to anything and we saw him take one or two steps on his own, so I think he should be walking pretty soon. He loves to throw balls now and to play with any sock or shoe he can find. He will dig through the dirty clothes just so he can find a sock to carry around. He barely just got his second molar so now he has 10 teeth.
