Catch Up

We finally decided to start a blog. I'm a little slow when it comes to knowing how these blogs work, but luckily my friend Andrea showed my how. Well to catch up on what is new in our lives, we stay pretty busy with our new son Jacob. He is about 2 and a half months old now and is growing like a weed. Last time we checked he weighed 12 lbs. He just loves to smile and laugh now. He looks exactly like his dad and is definitely a very energetic child. I took the semester off from school and am just enjoying being a stay at home mom right now. I'll be going back to school in the fall and I only have my student teaching after that, so luckily I'm almost done. I'm glad we didn't wait to have a baby though, Jacob is such a blessing in our lives. Scott is going to school part time and spends most of his time studying for the MCAT, which he takes in April. I've been helping him research to decide what medical schools he will be applying to. He is such a smart guy, I know he will get into where ever he wants to (right now that is hopefully the University of Utah, because we want to be close to all our family).
